LIFTED YOGA

Offering cannabis infused specialty classes and workshops - in private spaces, studios, virtually.

Rachel has been leading cannabis-infused events, workshops and classes since 2021.

She goes by her sub-brand, Balsamic Moon Lifted Yoga, for these cannayoga events.

A medical patient herself, Rachel thoughtfully crafts each lifted yoga session to be a true experience for participants - weaving in not just the yoga + cannabis component, but also partnering with businesses to promote products and goods into the experience for attendees.

Always keeping ahimsa (the yogic principal of non-harm) at the forefront of her offerings - Rachel donates portions of, or the total proceeds, generated by her lifted yoga events to non-profits combatting the enduring harms from the war on drugs.

  • Balsamic Moon Lifted Yoga has fundraised to date over $760 for the Last Prisoner Project - a non-profit legal aid fund and advocacy group working to support those incarcerated/formerly incarcerted due to cannabis-related charges.

The Balsamic Moon Lifted Yoga Experience:

  • Rachel is both a certified yoga teacher and a medical cannabis patient and cannabis advocate. Rachel thoughtfully crafts each lifted yoga experience she teaches to honor cannabis and its effects on the body while in concern with movement and asana.

  • Sure - getting lifted on cannabis and rolling around on a yoga mat is great and all, but Rachel's mission is to provide a lifted class experience that's well designed: asana that works with the body and cannabis, not against it (no complex balancing, or over exertion), works with partners to provide attendees with cannabis products that just make sense to use while doing yoga (indica for a nice slow flow or resotrative class; sativa perhaps for an energizing class in the morning with some uplifting edibles). Users come away from her classes feeling empowered having learned how to explore their dosing and activities. She also incorporates fun music playlists and a community aspect into each event - attendees make friends and have fun!

  • Rachel has experience working with cannabis industry partners and small businesses alike. She strives to highlight local and regional products and businesses - highlighting cannabis products and samples as gifts in her lifted classes, introducing attendees to a market of enduring options after the class for cannabis exploration.

  • Rachel donates partial or even total proceeds from her Lifted yoga events and classes to nonprofits serving those impacted by the war on drugs. She has fundraised over $760 and counting for the Last Prisoner Project, and will continue to do so!

  • Find your tribe and flow with like-minded yogis who also love cannabis. Attendees often mingle and socialize. These events are also excellent group outings - skip going to the brewery for the billionth time, come to lifted yoga instead!
